A little about us…

We own and operate a container nursery in the beautiful area of Aurora, Oregon, and have been in business for over 40 years (originally as Bell Family Nursery). We found our “niche” growing and propagating hydrangeas, and have found them to be a successful product line. 

To our knowledge, we have one of the most extensive (if not the largest) selection of hydrangea varieties available for purchase in North America. While we still operate our wholesale business as Amethyst Hill Nursery, most of our business has transitioned to our retail division, Hydrangeas Plus.

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with healthy and vibrant plants. Our motto, “We grow with care and it shows…,” is not just lip service; we like to think your products speak for themselves. Amethyst Hill Nursery is a division of VanHoose Enterprises, LLC.
